This page describes how you can request deletion of your HandyBot data, including data associated with Meta/Facebook Login or Facebook Pages/Messenger connections (if used).
Option A — Delete from within the app (recommended)
- Log in to the HandyBot web app.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Select Delete Account and follow the prompts.
Option B — Request deletion by email
Send an email to support@handybot.help with:
- Subject:
Data Deletion Request - Your account email and/or business name
- If applicable: the Facebook Page name/ID connected to HandyBot
What we delete
- Your HandyBot account profile and settings.
- Stored conversations, messages, and attachments associated with your account (where applicable).
- Knowledge base content you uploaded.
- Integration tokens/credentials (e.g., Messenger, Twilio, Google Calendar) associated with your account.
What we may retain
We may retain limited information when required for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, billing records or audit logs), and will protect it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deletion timeline
We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days), unless a longer period is required for legal or security reasons.
Meta/Facebook data deletion instructions
If you used Facebook Login or connected a Facebook Page to HandyBot, you can also remove HandyBot’s access:
- Go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Find HandyBot and select Remove.
